Digital for Planet is delighted to share that its President and Founder, Dr. Monique Calisti, has been elected as a member of the new Board of Directors of the AI, Data and Robotics Association (ADRA). This election underlines our ongoing commitment to driving forward the European Commission’s priorities in AI, particularly through the promotion of open, sustainable, and human-centric digital technologies.
Monique returns to ADRA’s Board with renewed dedication, building on her previous experience from 2021–2022. Motivated by a strong commitment to Europe’s digital sovereignty and societal impact, she brings expertise in multi-stakeholder governance, sustainable digital transformation, and technical leadership & strategic vision. With a solid background in AI & data innovation, EU R&I, and business development, she aims to help guide ADRA’s strategic direction, fostering responsible technology adoption and enhancing the association’s credibility and growth.
With a track record in leading European R&I initiatives, such as 6G4Society and INPACE, her election also underscores the growing recognition of the essential role not-for-profit organisations play in shaping ethical and responsible AI and digital ecosystems in Europe.
