Horizon Europe Projects

Even the greatest ideas risk remaining unrealised without a strategic orientation and financial means.

The Digital for Planet team of EU funding experts has a long history of working with researchers, industry players and policy makers in the ICT sector and beyond. Together, we can help you define winning strategies and access funding opportunities to make digital innovation sustainable.

Project INTACT aims to develop an Integrated Software Toolbox designed to enhance predictive cybersecurity sensing, optimization, and management across the distributed IoT-to-Cloud continuum. This innovative platform seeks to continuously maximize infrastructure security and data privacy while minimizing impacts on computing capacity, energy consumption, and costs essential for business operations. By creating virtual, isolated dataspaces that replicate the continuum, INTACT’s Twinning tools enable advanced Threat Intelligence capabilities to stress-test the attack surface. This allows for accurate and proactive risk mitigation measures that protect the real system without disrupting its functionality. Users can set specific thresholds for computing and energy use, ensuring tailored solutions that meet their operational needs. Initially, these solutions will be tested in a lab setting, drawing insights from previous European projects. This will lead to real-world applications in various fields, including telecommunications, healthcare, transportation, and smart cities. Our goal is to strengthen the EU’s cybersecurity capabilities and economic stability, promote energy efficiency, and lower carbon footprints, all while encouraging collaboration through open-source tools and partnerships with EU organizations focused on cybersecurity and technology.

CASTOR is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action focused on developing breakthrough technologies to enable trustworthy communications throughout the compute continuum.

The evolution from cloud-centric services to edge and far-edge computing has been driven by the need to support emerging user demands for lower latency, improved performance, and better adaptability. This shift created a compute continuum and challenges in ensuring end-to-end security, as the workloads traverse untrusted and continuously changing hardware and software infrastructures.

CASTOR seeks to address this critical gap by delivering an innovative framework for secure communications in a continuum that spans diverse hardware and software infrastructures.

Digital4Planet will implement a wide range of outreach, communication, and dissemination efforts.

The ENFORCE project is a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action  that seeks to bridge the gap between citizen-generated environmental data and the stringent requirements of authorities for enforcement. By introducing innovative toolkits, protocols, and the concept of Data Readiness Level, the project ensures that citizen-collected data is actionable for legal compliance. With the integration of geo-spatial intelligence and AI-enhanced tools, ENFORCE strengthens the reliability of environmental data, fostering trust and alignment with the Green Deal Data Space for effective data exchange across diverse stakeholders.
Digital for Planet is in charge of the dissemination of project results with relevant stakeholders to maximize impact and ensure widespread use, and will actively contribute to the work on policy recommendations.

INPACE is a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action Project dedicated to create a sustainable and interactive multi-stakeholder Indo-Pacific European Hub for collaboration in digital technologies. Its core mission is to support the implementation of the Digital Partnerships with Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore, as well as the cooperation with India in the context of the Trade and Technology Council. The INPACE Hub aims to establish a long-term expert-driven mechanism for EU-Indo-Pacific collaboration focusing on digital technologies.

The role of Digital for Planet is to lead communication, dissemination, and community building activities of the INPACE Hub, aiming to engage and create synergies with a broad community of stakeholders across Europe and the Indo-Pacific region.

6G4SOCIETY is a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action that aims to take a comprehensive and multidisciplinary view of future technology development.

By bridging the gap between the general public, non-experts, industries, and small businesses in the smart and network services sector, the aim is to raise awareness, encourage inclusivity, promote sustainability, and establish trustworthiness.

COROB (Cooperative Robotics Powered by AI and Data for flexible production cells) is a Horizion Europe research and Innovation action aimed at developing a flexible, cooperative, and intelligent multi-robotic solution powered by Inspection, Monitoring, Control and AI techniques that will increase the efficiency and improve the flexibility of industrial processes.

SPIRIT logo

SPIRIT is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action that aims to realise Europe’s first multi-site and interconnected framework to support the operation of heterogeneous collaborative telepresence applications at large scale through relevant technology innovations.

The ambition is to bring real-time immersive experiences to practice by developing, combining and integrating a set of advanced technologies at application and network levels to ensure secure, inclusive and context-aware access to a number of services.

The role of Digital for Planet is to lead a broad set of outreach communication and media activities and provide support to the coordination of the project and by managing the Open Calls.

6G-NTN_logo
6G-NTN is a Horizon Europen Research and Innovation Action that aims to research and develop the innovative technical, regulatory, and standardization enablers needed to ensure the full-fledged integration of the NTN component into the 6G system.

The goal is to meet vertical industry and consumer market expectations, promote European industrial leadership in these sectors, and directly contribute to the support of the Horizon Europe strategic plan’s Key Strategic Orientations A and B. In this regard, 6G-NTN aspires to be the NTN flagship project for the research and development of the NTN component of 6G, as well as drive its standardization phase in 3GPP as part of Release 20.
