SUMMARY:Digital Enablers: The Future of Sustainability
DESCRIPTION:Join DIGITAL SME\, the European Commission\, GeSI\, and innovative SMEs at the launch of the Focus Group ICT Sustainability\nTurning Europe into a green and digital economy is a herculean task that rests on the shoulders of one group in particular: innovative “digital enabler” SMEs.  Digital enablers facilitate other businesses’ transition to more digital and sustainable business models. Many of these SMEs are sustainable-by-design\, maintaining a very small footprint or net-zero emissions in their own operations while “greening” other sectors with their solutions. \nNow Europe’s digital enablers have a new home: DIGITAL SME’s Focus Group ICT Sustainability (FGS)!  This new group will bring together SMEs that are 1) digital or digitally-based\, and 2) contribute to environmental sustainability. Starting today\, the Focus Group invites businesses that provide sustainable technology solutions and services to join its ranks. \nMore information about the agenda and how to attend here. \n
